Together we want to bridge the gap between science and industry – and focus more worldwide attention on plasma. To do this, we need your help: the Plasmatreat Academy thrives on the exchange of ideas between plasma experts from very diverse sectors with individual areas of specialization.
Are you a scientist or plasma technology user, or perhaps you have another type of plasma expertise? Can you see yourself getting involved with the Plasmatreat Academy as a speaker, lecturer or panelist? By joining our network of partners, you can make new contacts and play an active role in shaping the future of plasma technology.

Produce Future Batteries
Virtual Exhibition and Conference, Germany
Plasmatreat goes virtual and is present at the 2nd Virtual Battery Exhibition from VDMA battery manufacturing, which will take place online from April 27 to May 3. On its virtual booth the company will present highlights about its own developed and patented Openair-Plasma technology for surface treatment especially for battery manufacturing.
Plasmatreat supports digitized manufacturing with its Plasma Control Unit (PCU) and makes numerous controls, regulation, and monitoring functions available to ensure consistently high surface-treatment quality and reproducibility.
VOCs occur when solvents and solvent-containing products are used, and they are harmful to the environment. Nevertheless, manufacturing in many industries still involves pre-treating surfaces with primers, bonding agents or other chemicals that release VOCs. With its Openair-Plasma process, Plasmatreat offers an environmentally friendly alternative.
Following the trends of modern mobility, the requirements for EV batteries are increasing both in the area of assembly and in terms of durability, weather resistance and temperature management. Here, adhesive bonding technology plays an important role, be it prismatic cells, pouch cells or cylindrical cells.
